Welcome Ladies to the Womens Fantasy Football League

We are here to offer competition and camaraderie all in the name of our beloved NFL Fantasy Football. The WFFL is actually comprised of a number of leagues, of varying types, all of which are exclusively for women. Sorry guys but you already make up about 90% of all fantasy teams. We girls need something tailored to us, for our community, featuring "Compassionate Competition" We offer more than a dozen Redraft, Auction, Keeper and Dynasty leagues.

Information for the new season will be updated as needed. Specifics on leagues available should be available in June. Sign ups for leagues takes place beginning in June on a first come first served basis. All leagues are exclusive to women.

Status Update on WFFL Leagues Openings

2014 League Availability
  • We have 7 total openings in 3 Standard Redraft Leagues. 
  • We have 2 openings in our Auction League. 
  • In Keeper Leagues we have 7 openings (3 team takeovers and 4 new teams)  
  • I am starting to accept names for our WFFL Dynasty League wait list in case there are any abandoned teams. 6 of 10 have registered, I am waiting for the remaining 4 managers to sign up or contact me to release their team.  
  • Our Fan Franchise League has 3 openings. Teams already claimed are Bills, Broncos, Giants, Lions, Niners, Panthers, Patriots, Raiders and Saints. Still plenty of good teams left (Hawks, Colts, Bears and more). 
  • I have decided not to renew the "Women Love NFL" redraft league on CBS. 
* If there is strong interest in another Standard redraft League I will add one on either MFL or ESPN.

New Leagues for 2014 on My Fantasy League hosting site: 
  •  WFFL Draft Masters (aka Best Ball) League has 9 openings. Draft only then the system sets your lineups each week. Great test of drafting skills. 
  •  WFFL PPR (points per reception) Redraft League has 8 openings. 
  •  WFFL Rowdy Girls Dynasty League - Startup Dynasty League with up to 37 openings ( 4 divisions, 10 teams each with divisions drafting seperately from full player pool).

PPR league

FAQ: What is a PPR league?

A PPR league is Points Per Reception. Basically along with all the standard scoring rules, players get a point each time a reception is made. So WR's TE's and RB's have their value increased. The theory is that this makes all positions more equitable in scoring. If you have a bad defense or QB you still have a chance if you have productive pass catchers at your other skill positions. It also helps with running back by committee situations, now so prevalent in the NFL. You may not have a full time #1 RB on a team but if you have one that is also a good pass catcher, such as Shane Vereen, you can still do fairly well at the position. So in a nutshell that's it. More and more leagues are moving to PPR to help offset the devaluation of the Running Back in todays NFL.

2014 Season Sign-Ups

Our leagues are now open and women are joining at a record pace. Most of our leagues are first come first served so the sooner you request an invitation the better your chances will be to get a spot. It's going to be a great season.
